North MS Homeschool Academy is an educational pathway that serves as an alternative to traditional public and private schools. The school is currently a secular cottage school, or hybrid school, that supports families who homeschool by offering structured class days two days per week with resources, assignments, and activities to work from home two days per week.  We schedule field trips, game days, and community service projects each month.

Curricular choices at NMHA are based on student interest, project-based learning, discovery-based learning, and foundational knowledge standards. NMHA seeks to prepare students for the real world by helping them do the following: identify personal uniqueness and strengths, build self-esteem and self-worth, communicate effectively to build healthy, positive relationships.

Each tutor has full autonomy.  Tutors work directly with parents and seek to create a class that meets the needs of each student taking full consideration of parent/family values; grade level, age, and capabilities; recommended teaching, learning, and curricular preferences.
